We are funded through a variety of federal, state, and private sources, each
providing for a specific service or need.
Federal Title X, the Family Planning Act, provides our mandate for family planning
services including some funding and the regulations under which we operate.
Federal Title XX provides funding for reproductive health services for some categories
of low income patients.
Federal Title V, the Maternal and Child Health Act, provides these services for some
other categories of patients.
Federal Title XIX funds medical assistance Access cards and for SelectPlan For Women.
PA Department of Health provides funding for the STD testing and treatment program
and some education programs.
Private donations. We are a member agency of Columbia County United Way. We also recieve funding for one-time projects or needs through grants from private foundations or individuals.
Fund-raising is conducted by our Board of Directors on an on-going basis.
Patient fees and insurance payments. We accept Medical Assistance, SelectPlan, and some private insurances. Patient fees, when applicable, are based on income and family size.
